Rio Tinto NZAS and Ngāi Tahu have announced the first tranche of funding from the $500,000 Murihiku Rūnaka and Rio Tinto NZAS Community Development Fund (CDF) for 2026, awarding $367,000 to support 10 outstanding community, environmental and cultural projects across Murihiku Southland.
